Tars 3D P440 is an industrial 3D printer using FFF technology, equipped with servo drives and offering a build volume of 490 x 370 x 360 mm. It features a filament sensor for material monitoring and an automatic bed leveling system. Other features include a magnetic build plate with three heating zones and a closed, heated chamber.
Power Backup
The Tars 3D P440 industrial printer includes a proprietary surge protection and energy backup system called U-ME.
In the event of a power failure, the printer continues working for up to 15 minutes, maintaining exactly the same 3D printing parameters.
New Herkules Extruder
The proprietary extruder allows for material extrusion with double the force (double-jugger) thanks to dual coupling and increased torque. These features result in more precise material extrusion and reduce the risk of filament grinding.
Hellfire Hotend
The Hellfire hotend is a print head designed for high-temperature materials.
It features an intuitive tool change system, allowing fast nozzle swaps from 0.2 mm to 1.2 mm in 0.1 mm increments. It has increased heating power (double-fire) to reach the desired temperature even faster. Maximum nozzle temperature: 420°C.
Camera and Wi-Fi Connectivity
Project files can be uploaded directly to the printer’s memory—even remotely via Wi-Fi!
Monitor print progress using the built-in camera directly on the printer or via your mobile phone using the dedicated app—all in HD quality.
Automatic Bed Calibration
The worktable is auto-leveled. A sensor maps its surface and creates a model using the finite element method. This ensures the bed is leveled with the print nozzle, providing perfect first-layer adhesion. The smooth bed surface allows for flat base prints without needing additional rafts.
